The Little Red Book Of Selling by Jeffrey Gitomer

This was the very first book on selling and marketing myself I ever read. Within Weeks of reading this book other trainers started to wonder what I was doing to sign up more clients! Even my manager started asking me to show other trainers how to sell training as well! Reading this first sales book showed me that I could learn a new skill and change my career.

How To Master The Art Of Selling by Tom Hopkins

This book gave me a deeper insight into real strategies to apply in selling and negotiations. It taught me there was an element of human nature and psychology that was very real. Understanding human behavior and knowing what to say and when to say it took my selling skills to the next level.

How To Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie

This is a must read in my company! So much of personal training success is in having the interpersonal skills to get along with people and win them as friends and costumers. As a trainer you may have the hard skills involved in exercise, but what about the soft skills involved in the conversations you are having? This book will change not just your career but also your personal relationships for the rest of your life.
